It is hard to believe 2015 is slowly coming to a close. I have been in Washington, D.C. for a month now. At first the enemy lied to me about being alone and not belonging here, but I am blessed. God has surrounded me with a community that fought (& fights) for my breakthrough, that loves me, that protects me, that believes in me. My heart is tender but it is rejoicing.

The picture below is off my incredible housemates right after our White Elephant Christmas party. My gift was a selfie stick. Never thought I'd own one but I'll put it to good use! :)

I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!!! I cannot wait to go home for Christmas. It's actually hard thinking about being away from my DC family for 2 weeks but I'm so thankful that God made a way for me to come home so that my entire family can spend Christmas together. My younger brother is a US Marine and he, his wife and newborn son will be home in California for Christmas. This will be my first time seeing my brother and sister-in-law in over a year and a half, and will be my first time meeting my nephew EVER!
Stay tuned to my blog to get a glimpse into what Christmas means to me. I love you all!
