I ran my 2nd half marathon this past Sunday. I didn't do it for time because I barely came off of a sprained ankle. But I will say- the Lord told me it was okay to run. I didn't get to train like I would have liked, and I even started the half marathon with some pain. However, I finished the 1/2 marathon! I finished leaning on the Lord. Not only that, my ankle feels better than EVER!!!
I'm praising God and I hope you're inspired in this: circumstances can tell you you're foolish to step out in faith. My case was running a half marathon so soon after spraining my ankle. BUT in stepping out, even with pain, I endured by the grace of God- and it was in the enduring that the miracle came.
Don't give up, and don't quit. He who promised is faithful. He who calls you and leads you forward, never leaves, forsakes or fails you!
