iFrail, fragile heart that knows the faithfulness of God and has seen immense miracles, yet still allows the occasional doubt access in.
Why do I doubt inspite or knowing God’s fully trustworthy faithfulness? My God has never failed me, and I can (and should) rest assured that He never will.
As the dawn of the unknown draws nearer in the coming horizon, worry and doubt seek to creep in. But I know I cannot let them creep in, because upon being let in, they seek to overwhelm.
We don’t have to allow worry or doubt into our lives. In fact, I charge you to refuse both any access into your mind and heart.

“Do not be anxious about anything—but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the shalom of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Messiah Yeshua.”
Philippians 4:6-7 TLV
What are you thankful for?
I’m thankful for Jesus and His love.
I’m thankful for faithful provision that is always right on time.
I’m thankful for every friend that has hosted me during my travels.
I’m thankful for every single meal and every glass of water.
I’m thankful for every divine connection made.
I’m thankful that my heart never lacks love or purpose.
The list can go on and on.
Giving thanks floods my mind and heart with peace. God’s peace guards my mind and heart.
I was nervous but am now reminded that I need to trust God a bit more. I was generous in blessing others and meeting their needs, but it’s honestly left me in the hole. Each time I gave I had the utmost confidence that my needs were met. I refuse to entertain doubt any longer. I had confidence that my needs were met because God is faithful. God is still faithful. I’m early on in the whole “I need a miracle...”
So how about I choose to rest and allow Abba God to once again be my faithful Provider.
What do you have need of? Instead of focusing on what you need, I encourage you to create a list of 20 things that you have now and are thankful for. I also encourage to be bold and specific when you present your requests to God. I believe He both loves and honors bold and specific prayers. We all have things we need, but don’t be so focused on yourself that you fail to see these two things:
- How you can be used to meet the needs of those around you, even if in the form of encouragement.
- God moving on your behalf.
As the Lord has both given me peace that surpasses understanding and has miraculously provided for my every need (and even many desires of my heart), I pray and impart my faith to see provision and miracles to YOU in Jesus’ mighty name.
Beloved, the Lord is more than enough for you and, I promise, you need not worry even a little bit. Take care and God bless. God’s got you and so do I.
