Don’t you think we would be foolish to believe our lives are insignificant?
Significance doesn’t come because of who we are but because of the glory, beauty and strength of Jesus Christ who came to give us life and life abundantly.
I don’t find pride in who I am or what I’ve accomplished, but I know that everything I am and everything I have is because of the mercy and tender love of Abba Father!
And I want to remind you that your life isn’t insignificant! To doubt that you can make a difference is to deny the fact that God created you with both intention and purpose. There is no other person like you and there is absolutely no one who can do what you’re called to do.
What I’m getting at, is I don’t want you to grow weary in doing good. I don’t want you to fail to see that what you’re doing today, the kindness and love you give, your work ethic, your passions, what you do for others, what you do with pure motives and intentions- none of that is in vain. The prayers you pray are not in vain. Your vocational job is not insignificant.
There is purpose flowing through your veins. The purposes of God and every promise He’s given you- is growing deep inside, waiting to burst forth.
There are people you will meet that I will never meet. There are jobs you will have that I will never come close to having. The impact you will make will be different than the impact I make. We’re the Beloved of Jesus. You have to believe that you were and are destined to do great things.
Stay humble, stay kind, remain submitted to Holy Spirit and His power in your life. Remember it’s a privilege to partner with the Lord.
