It's been a while since I last blogged. Truth be told, I was losing myself briefly- or it felt as though I were. Jesus wasn't my #1 priority and I found that the longer I went without prioritizing Him, the more uneasy I became and the more I lost sight of who I was.
It's nothing to be alarmed by, I'm just being honest about what I was feeling inside. I started to make a few poor choices, felt myself sinking deeper and deeper. I thought I was sinking deeper into a dark abyss where I would drown, but oh was that the opposite.
Sinking deeper and deeper brought me into a place where all I could do was cry out to Jesus and ask Him to get me out of the mess I got myself into. And do you know what He did? He came to my rescue and saved me. What I was actually sinking deeper into was the ocean of God's love- I simply needed to open my eyes to see it and open my heart up to receive it..
I'm truly amazed by the kindness and faithfulness of Jesus. Who He is absolutely amazes me and leaves me in awe. If you feel any separation or distance from Him, cry out to Him- He is faithful to meet you.
Bring Jesus into your everything. Learn to prioritize Him. You will never look back and regret prioritizing Jesus in your life. I want to encourage you to become more aware of His presence.

The 3rd weekend in April I had the blessing of going to New Jersey with my friend Meghan to visit my best friend Julie. This was one of my best weekends yet. I came to revisit a friend but oh did I experience the depth of who Jesus is. Prioritizing Jesus doesn't mean you don't enjoy life, but truly does Jesus enhance our life. If He asks you to lay down your time, schedule, finances, plans, dreams, anything- remember that He does so FOR YOUR GOOD. Sacrifice to Jesus isn't a loss but it's laying down something of value because you love Him and know He's worthy. The best part is you lay something down and the Lord gives you something FAR BETTER in return. But don't lay something down with the intention of receiving something better in return- do it because you love Jesus and He is unbelievably worthy. The reality is that every time you sacrifice you do get something better in return because you get Jesus more and more unhindered. What can get better than that?
There is nothing and no one who is can fulfill and satisfy you like Jesus. Allow Him to meet you where you are. If you are thriving and honoring Him right now, let Him into your life more. If you are struggling and have stepped back into old chains, let Jesus into your life more. He is our Redeemer, we are loved by Him. What more can we ask for?
